Here is a simple script you can use to prospect your server the next time you’re at a restaurant.After they serve your meal, you compliment them.You: Thanks so much for the excellent service. Step 1: Trigger the Dialogue

For example if I notice a person with a cup of coffee i say something like
”Ah, what type of coffee is it?” or
”Are you thrilled about the upcoming holiday season?” (Say this only if you’re sure that holidays are really comming of course) or
“Any plans for the weekend”
Often, not even always, persons are usually open to chitchat. Of course only when you put a smile on before you start a conversation…
Step 2: Follow up with a “magical Icebreaker question”
After the first phrases have been exchanged I begin to ask them
“What do you work alongside your studies?”
“What do you do for a living”
“Do you have a part-time job? What is it?”
If they say, “No, I’m not working at the moment” (common answer)
I say usually, “Well, I work with a company and they are currently looking for help. Are you open for some information about this side project if it doesn’t interfere with your study?”
What do you think they’ll say?
If they aren’t too much down or have a bad day they say: “Yes, sure”
Congrats, you’ve “generated” a Network Marketing Prospect who’s open for further information.
Now, I hear some of you say: That is too easy…
Other persons you talk to might possibly say, “What exactly is it?”
In that situation I’ll say for example
“Well, it is a new Identity theft Protection company rising in this region, i’m not certain if it is a fit for you but I can give you a link (or shoot you some information) where you can take a look at, what is your e-mail/facebook name?”
The dialogue shouldn’t take more than around 3 to 5 mins, BECAUSE if your fresh potential begins to ask detailed questions you’ll lose the game. If you have to answer questions before they have seen your online or offline business presentation it’s less likely they will sign in… much less watch the presentation. That’s the experience i made.
The other ones will tell you that they have work, here you can say,
“Does it fit for you?”
No matter if they give you a YES or NO now, you can say the same like above:
“Ok listen, I’m going to asI am working with a company right now that is looking for some help and I don’t know if you would be interested but I think you are perfect for what we are looking for, I would be happy to share it with you, if you give me your email and number I can shoot you some information?”
